First thought. And the second right away. Early October. Time to kick off the autumn release wave. Can we become like this gentleman? But the sobering reality sets in rather quickly. Too much chaff among the wheat. Basically everything as always. And yet we should keep our ears open this weekend. – LALAH HATHAWAY, with her current album “Made In Chicago,” has already provided clear proof that there is a fabulous soul life far away from any artificial intelligence. Absolutely worth listening to. SALOMEA counters with “Axxxis.” New soul and R&B, freshly seasoned. Good! – The SONS OF SEVILLA are, as we know, not from Sevilla. And yet they carry the sun in their hearts — and in their music. Very friendly songs. – Of course we’ve all been impatiently waiting for MESHELL NDEGEOCELLO’s album “Synonym.” Cheerful music‑guessing is guaranteed when Meshell and her distinguished guests open up new possibilities for 15 hits from pop and adjacent genres. Absolutely splendid, highly entertaining, a must‑have. – The same naturally applies to today’s extra: STEVIE WONDER will soon bring his legendary “Songs In The Key Of Life” to German stages. Reason enough to meaningfully expand the album with a previously unreleased quartet of songs. Required listening.

Erster Gedanke. Und der zweite auch gleich. Anfang Oktober. Sollte man unbedingt nachhören. Ganz famos, höchst unterhaltsam, Must-have. STEVIE WONDER bringt alsbald sein legendäres „Songs In The Key Of Life“ auch auf deutsche Bühnen. Pflichtprogramm!
