She has named her upcoming album <em>\u201cMade in Chicago,\u201d<\/em> and with the richly expanded <em>\u201c47th Street\u201d<\/em> she evokes the city\u2019s soul history \u2014 a history closely intertwined with the Hathaway family, of course. &#8211; Fancy some top\u2011tier soul\u2011jazz? <strong>JAZZHOLE <\/strong>are always the first choice. A dragging beat, interwoven with the spoken\u2011word flow of Ckrizzy2gone. A rock in the surf. &#8211; A late calling for <strong>DANIELLE PONDER<\/strong>. In 2021 she ended her already well\u2011advanced career as an attorney and chose soul and rhythm &amp; blues instead. Her performance is powerful and emphatic, her songs full of the hooks and edges that matter. No wonder her <em>\u201cSun &amp; Moon\u201d<\/em> is currently spinning a few extra rounds with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Muntere Viererbande. Tief grummelnder 80s-Electro-Boogie-Funk mit dem Charme Brasiliens. &#8222;Toc Toc&#8220; macht der <strong>ED MOTTA<\/strong>, und alle machen mit. &#8211; Auch <strong>LALAH HATHAWAY<\/strong> macht sich auf den Weg in die besseren Zeiten. &#8222;Made In Chicago&#8220; hat sie ihr bevorstehendes Album genannt, aus dem sie mittels des umfassend ausgebauten &#8222;47th. Street&#8220; an die Soul-Historie der Stadt erinnert, die nat\u00fcrlich auch eng mit der Familie Hathaway verbunden ist.  &#8211; Soul-Jazz der Oberklasse gef\u00e4llig? <strong>JAZZHOLE<\/strong> sind diesbez\u00fcglich stets erste Wahl. Schleppender Beat, darin verwobener Sprechgesang des Ckrizzy2gone. Ein Fels in der Brandung. &#8211; Eine Sp\u00e4tberufene, diese <strong>DANIELLE PONDER<\/strong>. 20121 beendete ihr bereits weit fortgeschrittene Anwalts-Karriere, und entschied sich f\u00fcr Soul und Rhythm&amp;Blues. Kraftvoll und nachdr\u00fccklich ihr Auftritt, dazu Songs mit den wichtigen Haken und \u00d6sen.
