„Hello Hi“, direct and unfiltered from Ellie Harris<\/strong>. Jazz, naturally enriched with a well\u2011measured dose of soul \u2013 plus a song like a roller\u2011coaster ride and a performance that rushes through the SonicSoul editorial room in truly remarkable fashion. A terrific start into the weekend. – We\u2019re still living off that wonderful collaborative EP that Jordan Rakei<\/strong> seemingly put in the shop window only a few weeks ago. And already the story continues \u2013 \u201cEnemies\u201d opens the door to an album called \u201cA Safe Place To Be Wild\u201d, which will cause a stir at Blue Note from October 30 onward. Jordan in the elevated singer\u2011songwriter\u2011pop\u2011soul\u2011or\u2011something segment. Naturally executed superbly, and with a few cheerful la\u2011la\u2011la\u2019s<\/em> it hits the mark with ease. – Among our sure candidates, of course, is Yazmin Lacey<\/strong>, who somehow dances her way through the \u201cSummer Haze\u201d. A pleasant groove with a world\u2011music foundation, plus a melody that simply cannot be denied entry. – \u201cA psych odyssey of traditional sounds delivered in a non\u2011traditional fashion.\u201d That\u2019s Ghost Funk Orchestra<\/strong> in words. With the towering \u201cOcotillo\u201d, Seth Applebaum and his loyal crew turn those words into action. Tooler Einstieg ins Wochenende. – Wir zehren noch von der wunderbaren Kollabo-EP, die der JORDAN RAKEI<\/strong> gef\u00fchlt erst vor ein paar Wochen ins Fenster gestellt hat.
