STUART WADE gibt seiner DOWN TO THE BONE Combo endlich mal wieder die Sporen. Und zwar ordentlich. Jazz-Funk mit Soul, gelenkig, animierend und geradezu wie ein ge\u00f6lter Blitz. Mittels der geschickt verwobenen Vokal-Beitr\u00e4ge von Natasha Watts, Hil StSoul oder Guida De Palma stehen alle Ampeln auf Gr\u00fcn &#8211; &#8222;This Way Forward&#8220; wenn&#8217;s mal wieder eine sichere Playlist-Bank sein soll &#8211; Bleiben wir beim Thema, nehmen ein wenig den Fu\u00df vom Pedal und h\u00f6ren, wie der Tommy Shugart als SHUGA T  das Thema Jazz-Funk auf seinem &#8222;Matriach&#8220; Album bespielt. Mit Hammond, einer ganz eigenen Traditions-Note und einer Band, die ganz souver\u00e4n in der Lage ist aus den Vorgaben interessante Resultate zu Geh\u00f6r zu bringen.
