Into the weekend with the essential questions of our time: \u201cWhere Do We Go From Here\u201d<\/em> and are we actually \u201cNever Satisfied\u201d<\/em>? In moments like these, a solid \u201cShelter\u201d<\/em>\u2014a rock in the surf\u2014matters More Than Ever<\/em>. All clear? As usual, we can\u2019t offer much support to the generally disoriented this week either. Unless,<\/strong> of course, it\u2019s about the right music for the weekend. More crucial than ever. And honestly, everything has already been said. Still, we should add that NAIMA ADAMS is offering us her debut EP, and we\u2019re more than happy to place her \u201cWhere Do We Go\u2026\u201d<\/em> in the shop window. Singer\u2011songwriter soul with alternative touches of jazz, folk, and more. What matters most: she has forged some truly fine songs. We\u2019re walking with you, Naima. A similar formula shapes the music of SOL PARADISE. Less folk, some kind of rock (?!), and related sound textures. Naturally, the hookline has to land\u2014no problem for \u201cShelter\u201d<\/em>. From Norway come DELIVERIE, reportedly an \u201cAlternative RnB\/Soul Band.\u201d Lacking a better label, we\u2019ll leave it at that and instead recommend a self\u2011test with \u201cNever Satisfied.\u201d<\/em> Fits us\u2014and the sound scheme so far\u2014perfectly. Black Thought, Rahsaan Patterson, Josh Milan, Moodymann, Omar, J. The songs of Gil Scott\u2011Heron,<\/strong> reimagined, replayed, and re\u2011arranged for life in the here and now. Ins Wochenende mit den essentiellen Fragen zur Zeit: „Where Do We Go From Here“ und waren sind wir eigentlich „Never Satisfied“. Dabei ist ein sicherer „Shelter“-Fels in der Brandung „More Than Ever“ wichtig. Alles klar? Wie gewohnt k\u00f6nnen wir den generell Orientierungslosen auch in dieser Woche keine St\u00fctze sein. Au\u00dfer es geht um die passenden Musiken f\u00fcr’s Wochenende. Entscheidender denn je! – Dabei ist eigentlich schon alles gesagt. Hinzuf\u00fcgen sollten wir allerdings, dass uns die NAIMA ADAMS<\/strong> ihre Debut-EP zur Verf\u00fcgung stellt, und wir mit gro\u00dfer Freude ihr „Where Do We Go…“ ins Schaufenster stellen. Sing-Songwriter-Soul mit alternativen Zutaten aus Jazz, Folk und so weiter. Wichtiger ist, dass sie feine Songs geschmiedet hat.
