Holterdiepolter! Or is it? Today we\u2019re trying not to complain for once, and instead let a few of the more important pieces of music of these days blow around our ears. We\u2019ll start with the new album by KAREN BERNOD<\/strong>, who has stayed with us in the best of memories since the early weeks of SonicSoul\u2019s second\u2011generation tinkering. As \u201cIris\u201d<\/em> she still presents herself as a \u201cBeautiful Soul\u201d<\/em>, and accordingly has a few proper songs on offer. Rock\u2011solid, straight from the here and now, and certainly not from some kind of \u201cVR\u201d \u2014 exactly! Let\u2019s apply that directly to the BROOKLYN FUNK ESSENTIALS<\/strong> and their \u201cBlack Butterfly\u201d<\/em> album. Lari Kronlund has gathered his Essentials around him once again to deliver a highly entertaining soul\u2011funk\u2011dance\u2011jazz potpourri. And together with \u201cThe Girl From Outta Space\u201d<\/em> we drift through pleasantly billowing sound atmospheres that carry us straight onto the gently swaying wings of the \u201cBlack Butterfly\u201d<\/em> outro. Surprisingly convincing! Let\u2019s make things a bit more difficult. Four lemmas on the way to a proof of identity in music and mathematics.<\/strong> All clear? Science! Made audible by UDEIGWE<\/strong>. The man is, in equal parts, a mathematician and a jazz musician. \u201cFour Lemmas\u201d<\/em> is what he calls his new album, whose proof, naturally, does not reveal itself. Instead, we find fulfillment in a tightly produced groove\u2011lecture in which Udeigwe argues with remarkable cleverness in the name of music and mathematics. No skipping class! Let\u2019s stay unusual (or even more so) and let LOULIA<\/strong> from Berlin tell us about her recent birthday. True to the motto \u201cGetting Older, Getting Hotter\u201d<\/em>, she sings about joys and concerns while Tim Sch\u00f6ne lays down his very own blend of pop, soul, and chanson beneath it. Holterdiepolter! Oder? Wir versuchen heute mal nicht zu jammern. sondern uns stattdessen ausschlie\u00dflich ein paar der wichtigeren Musiken dieser Tage um die Ohren wehen zu lassen. Wir starten mal mit dem neuen Album der KAREN BERNOD<\/strong>, die uns seit den Anfangswochen der 2. Generation des SonicSoul Rummachens in bester Erinnerung geblieben ist. als „Iris“ zeigt sie sich immer noch als „Beautiful Soul“, hat dementsprechend ein paar ordnungsgem\u00e4\u00dfe Songs im Angebot. Grundsolide, direkt aus dem hier uns heute, und ganz sicher nicht aus irgendeiner „VR“ – Ganz genau! \u00dcbernehmen wir so auch gleich mal f\u00fcr das „Black Butterfly“ Album der BROOKLYN FUNK ESSENTIALS<\/strong>. Der Lari Kronlund hat seine Essentials ein weiteres Mal um sich versammelt, um ein h\u00f6chst unterhaltsames Soul-Funk-Dance-Jazz Potpourri aufzulegen. Und gemeinsam mit „The Girl From Outta Space“ geht’s zudem noch durch angenehmst wallende Sound-Atmosph\u00e4ren, die uns direkt auf die sanft schwingenden Fl\u00fcgel des „Black Butterfly“ Outros f\u00fchren. \u00dcberraschend \u00fcberzeugend! – Machen wir’s mal ein wenig schwieriger. Vier Lemmata auf dem Weg zu einem Identit\u00e4tsbeweis in Musik und Mathematik. Alles klar? Wissenschaft! H\u00f6rbar gemacht von UDEIGWE<\/strong>. Der Mann ist zu gleichen Teilen Mathematiker, und eben auch Jazz-Musiker. „Four Lemmas“ nennt er sein neues Album, dessen Beweisf\u00fchrung sich selbstredend nicht erschlie\u00dft. Stattdessen finden wir Erf\u00fcllung mittels der luftig-produzierten Groove-Vorlesung, in der Udeigwe im Namen von Musik und Rechnen \u00e4u\u00dferst clever argumentiert. Schw\u00e4nzen verboten! – Bleiben wir ungew\u00f6hnlich(er), und lassen LOULIA<\/strong> aus Berlin von ihrem j\u00fcngsten Geburtstag berichten. Frei nach dem Motto „Getting Older, Getting Hotter“ besingt sie Freuden und Bedenken, w\u00e4hren Tim Sch\u00f6ne einen ganz eigenen Mix aus Pop, Soul, Chanson darunterlegt. Besonders!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
