Gentle courage! We\u2019re not giving up hope. Instead, we\u2019re just placing a few songs into our private music box\u2014songs that sound as lovely as feels good right now. Beautiful curves of melody in an even more beautiful musical landscape. Pop with soul. Soul with pop. Sometimes more of one, sometimes less. The main thing is balance. This applies especially to EVANN MCINTOSH<\/strong>, on whose magnificent \u201cFree Ride\u201d wave from last year we\u2019re still surfing through life. His \u201cFantasy Fuel\u201d shifts down a few gears. The secret is, of course, carefully wrapped up inside. Producer Abe Rounds is not entirely innocent in this. Be that as it may, Evann simply has to take the big stage very soon. His new album should see to that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOSTALGIA 7<\/strong>7 is back and sounds just as the name still suggests. \u201cBye By\u201d is utterly delightful\u2014a distinction that could just as well adorn the entire body of work of GARETH DONKIN<\/strong>. \u201cNever Gonna Break Your Heart\u201d sounds like a promise that can\u2019t be kept. We\u2019ll accept it that way\u2014it simply sounds too good coming from Gareth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delonte Drumgold is RUM.GOLD<\/strong>. With careful gentleness, he shapes the soul of \u201cAsleep At The Wheel,\u201d adds a few pop notes, and decorates it with just the right amount of crumbly sugar on top. So don\u2019t fall asleep!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOSTALGIA 77<\/strong> ist zurc\u00fck und klingt so, wie der Name immer noch vermuten l\u00e4sst. „Bye By“ ist allerliebst. – Ein Pr\u00e4dikat mit dem sich das GARETH DONKIN<\/strong> gesamtwerk schm\u00fccken k\u00f6nnte. „Never Goann Break Your Heart“ klingt nach einem unerf\u00fcllbaren Versprechen. Nehmen wir so hin – zu wohlklingend t\u00f6nts vom Gareth. – Delonte Drumgold ist der RUM.GOLD<\/strong>. Mit sorgf\u00e4ltiger Sanftmut legt er sich den „Asleep At The Wheel“ Soul zurecht, gibt ein paar Pop-Noten dazu und verziert mit genau der richtigen Menge an streuseligem Zucker. Also, nicht verschlafen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
