Dabei hatte auch diese Woche wieder allerlei zu bieten. Einen bunten Strau\u00df frischer<!--more-->  Melodien, die auch uns zu gefallen wussten. Na also, geht doch. Wir bleiben Freunde, oder?<\/p>\n<p><strong>HIATUS KAIYOTE &#8222;Make Friends&#8220;<\/strong><br \/>\nWie man neue Freunde gewinnt, dass berichtet uns das Quartett um Frontfrau Nai Palm. Nat\u00fcrlich in schon ge\u00fcbter freiz\u00fcgigen Stil-Losigkeit, mit der die 4 uns immer wieder so gern hinterm Ofen hervorlocken. Nu-Soul, Alt-Soul oder ganz ohne Soul? Egal, es macht Spa\u00df. Oder einfach sch\u00f6ne Sounds. Melodie auf unruhigem Rhythmus, dazu ein feines Streicher-Arrangement und die wissende Produktion des Ben Lamdin. Munter und f\u00fcr den leichten Fu\u00df. Der &#8222;Flamingo&#8220; der Frau Cann stolziert auf Soul und Jazz, und streift dar\u00fcber afrikanische World-Beat Gefilde. Ein unbekannter &#8222;Little Bird&#8220; zwitschert&#8217;s deutlich vom Dach: die Sabina Damry hat sich mit leichtem Fl\u00fcgelschlag zu einer ganz formidable NuSoulJazz Nummer aufgeschwungen, der eine gewisse Moonchild Affinit\u00e4t nicht abzusprechen ist. Fingerschnippender Beat, deutliche Bass-Grundierung und ein tolles H\u00f6rner-Arrangement.
