Insgesamt 11 frische Musiken, allesamt zwischen den bekannt-bew\u00e4hrten Soul-Jazz-Wegmarken aufgestellt und entsprechend der Bluey-Sound-Philosophie knackig und effizient in T\u00f6ne gesetzt. Flott und leichf\u00fc\u00dfig, mal mit geschickt verwobenem Pop, mal mit umtriebigen Rhythmus-Abteilung und deutlichem Incognito-Anstrich &#8211; ein Umstand, der uns zum Beispiel &#8222;Nobody Knows&#8220; besonders sympathisch erscheinen l\u00e4sst. Sicher, der Mann verf\u00fcgt nicht \u00fcber eine dieser \u00fcberragenden Soul-Jazz-Stimmen, denen er mit besonderer Freude ansonsten gern das Rampenlicht \u00fcberl\u00e4sst &#8211; daher ist&#8217;s noch wichtiger, dass die Hooks sich locker in die Kurven legen, die netten Finessen der Arrangements ganz engmaschig verwoben sind und die Grooves mit \u00fcberlegenem Antrieb ganz sicher ihr Ziel erreichen.
