Nach einiger Zeit des Probierens ud Experimentierens reifte die Idee, dass auf Basis dieses besonderen Rhythmus-Teams der Funk eine ganz neue Heimstatt finden muss. Gesagt, getan. Namen, wie Nigel Hall, Kamasi Washington, Phil Lassiter, Karl Denson, Bobby Ray Sparks oder Sylvester Uzoma Onyejiaka wurden auf die G\u00e4steliste gesetzt &#8211; ein Rahmen-Programm von insgesamt 18 Funk-Stanzen zwischen Jazz und Soul wurde erstellt und damit der &#8222;Conscious Funk&#8220; ins Rollen gebracht. &#8222;Unstoppable&#8220;, sozusagen.
