Klar geordnet<!--more--> von der unvergleichlichen Meshell Ndegeocello am Produzentenpult, sauberst abgemischt von Bob Power (mit wem hat der Mann eigentlich noch nicht gearbeitet?) und musik-technisch unterst\u00fctzt von Robert Glasper (sein Spiel ist ohnehin in jeder Nu-Jazz-Soul Aufnahme-Runde derzeit unverzichtbar&#8230;), Pino Palladino, Chris Dave und Keyon Harrold. Obendr\u00fcber die feine Stimme von Jean Baylor (einst mit neuem Soul als Teil von Zhan\u00e9 unterwegs und jetzt gemeinsam mit Ehemann Marcus mit Jazz dabei &#8211; Debut sollte eigentlich schon l\u00e4ngst vorliegen!) und untendrunter dieser Bass und pointiertes, zickenfreies Schlagwerk. &#8222;Nihil novi sub sole &#8211; there is nothing new under the sun&#8220; sagt der Marcus. Und dann kommt &#8222;Tic-Toc&#8220; und ein Ton, der einen nicht mehr losl\u00e4sst.
