The music is playing. The selection is spot on. So we let ourselves go and, for now, hand over the equipment—and control over the musical atmosphere—to 2BFUZZY and his friend and colleague OONOPS. After all, the motto is “This Is DJ’s Choice,” and in its sixth episode, the aforementioned duo takes the reins. Music from all over the world—reggae rhythms, hip-hop beats, jazz vibes, and sweet soul music from Pat van Dyke, whose “Shoulders Of Love” we hereby declare our favorite. – “Psych-Soul Nuggets from the 70s.” Sounds exciting, is exciting—and vice versa. TOBIAS KIRMAYER has done it again, diving once more into the depths of various music archives—very deep, and with the knowledge and experience of where a few unheard treasures might still be uncovered. Closely related to the fabulous “Praise Poems” series from Tramp Records, this „Hopes & Dreams“ collection features 13 specialties ranging between pop, folk, jazz, and kraut-inspired fusions. An all-around delight that absolutely deserves attention.

In direkter Verwandtschaft zur famosen „Praise Poems“ Reihe der Tramp Records, tummeln sich bei „Hope & Dreams“ 13 Spezialitäten zwischen Pop, Folk, Jazz und krautigen. Fusionen. Ein Rundum-Vergnügen, dass es unbedingt zu beachten gilt.
