And here we go again. Edition No. 30. Once more under the proven stewardship of Expansion Records. This weekend, the Grand Hotel in Blackpool is once again the center of the Modern Soul scene. Ann Nesby and Ashley Jones will be there in person, joined by a thoroughly reliable DJ team tasked with filling the excellently equipped venue with every kind of soul-friendly dance music. As usual, sold out for months. But those of us staying at home are, of course, catered for in the customary way. Coinciding with the party weekend, the three-disc CD package Luxury Soul 2026 will be released, whose hand-picked track list of 35 songs is guaranteed to create the best of moods even at home by the stove.
